This game is absolutely awesome for what it offers! first thing is that you can play the way you want and find many different ways to own players/bots from sniping to artillery strikes or even a suicide jet crash.
BF2 is very repayable!



i recommend this game for all types of lan parties, you'll have people jumping out of their seats shouting orders to each other (unless yoou use headsets.. but what fun is that!!) or you could play the freelance mercenary and not listen to anyone since your uber LEET and have insane "skills" (BE YOUR OWN TEAM and kill anyone you see even if its you ally jimmy who just wants to hide with you >:[ )

one sneaky little thing you can do is use the special forces class and sneak your way into enemy (main) base once there Place C4 on as many vehicles as you can once done, go hide somewhere where you can watch if people get into them, as soon as you see someone get in *click* set them off and KABOOM! this will ensure you many Lulz!

The possibilities are endless.

PROJECT REALITY


during patch searching for BF2 i stumbled upon a MOD known as Project Reality. The main focus on this mod is to make BF2 as realistic as possible.

Project Reality is a free to download game modification for the Battlefield 2 (BF2) retail pc game. The Reality Mod installs alongside the existing game installation allowing both the original and Project Reality to be played separately without causing conflicts.

The Mod developers' aims are to rework the original game engine developed by Digital Illusions of Sweden (Dice) within legal and feasible constraints to create a realistic combat environment for gamers. This includes adjusting the games various elements including physics, visual effects and game play. Along with changes to how the game handles, the PR team intends to include additional factions, such as the British military and add to or alter existing factions so that they resemble real life combat elements found within their contemporary environments.

The Mods name, 'Project Reality', is self descriptive in its aim to create a realistic combat environment on the home computer. The Project Reality team comprises a group of dedicated individuals, several of whom have backgrounds in armed services, whose sole task is to provide researched material, including statistical information, to the developers who are in turn tasked with coding and creating the mod itself. If you are looking for a fact based first person shooter from the perspective of a combat soldier, we feel Project Reality will provide for your gaming needs.

Inspiration for this modification can be found in interviews BF2 developers have participated in.

The Mod is now going through its seventh installment, Project Reality 0.7. In its earliest forms, the Project Reality Mini-Mod series began as a platform to experiment with certain realism changes and analyze their impact on gameplay with the retail BF2 engine. As the changes have progressed into workable features it has become a product with a frequent release schedule which provides the gaming community with ever increasing material and realistic gaming to satisfy their wants.

The goal at the moment is to develop and release Project Reality v1.0, a stable and completed Mod build which will be a markedly increased step up from the Project Reality Mini-Mod beginnings. This will include a complete British faction, including their various soldier classes, weaponry, vehicles and assets.

Back to me now
my opinions are that this mod makes bf2 feel like your playing it in arcade mode or something, Project reality just blows you away with its realism.

when you get hit by a few bullets you start dying slowly (you can tell from your character since he starts grunting and coughing like hell ) after a few minutes you start to loose your vision and everything starts to turn black and white....dead


if there was a combat simulator (like microsofts flight simulator ) then Project Reality is that simulator!

SlayerS_`BoxeR` he has become famous and wicked rich from professionally playing Starcraft thats like me being a pro gamer at Golden eye 64! "nahh! :\" । but the thing is over in South Korea Starcraft is played by many pros that all have their own special traits and skills॥ which kinda makes watching the games pretty entertaining! you should also note that They also have several TV stations dedicated to Competitive Gaming, s wonder pro gamers in south Korea can become famous॥ heck i wish there were TV Stations like that in the West

with that in mind.. one company that is trying hard to make their game known in the competitive gaming world is none other than command and conquer 3/kanes Wrath
The giant gaming company known as EA (election arts) has developed a feature known as Battlecast PrimeTime CNC3 Website.

there are two presenters that tell you everything that is happening with the Game (like patches and stuff/ and any thing related to the cnc world)
and then once thats all over the good part begins.. The best matches from online
